Making a WiFi QR code
A WiFi QR code is a plain text string in a format phones recognise. Paste this into the content box, replacing the network name and password: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:YourPassword;;
Use T:WPA for a normal WPA/WPA2 password, or T:nopass with no P value for an open network. Scanning it offers to join the network, which is handy for a café counter, a reception desk or a guest room card.
Other things you can encode
A website address (include https://), a phone number as tel:+919000000000, an email as mailto:you@example.com, or any plain text such as an offer code or table number.
Codes are drawn on your device and downloaded as PNG, so there is no scan tracking and no dashboard — what you encode is exactly what a scanner reads.
Printing a code that scans reliably
Pick the 512px or 1024px size for anything printed, keep a clear quiet zone around the edge, and keep good contrast between the two colours — a light code on a dark background often fails to scan.
For a product label or shelf tag you usually want a barcode instead; the two formats solve different jobs.
